PRIVACY POLICY

PreCompare (“we”, “us”) is a product comparison site for preworkout supplements. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what little we do process, and your choices.

What we collect

• Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical data about requests (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and debugging. These logs are retained only for a limited period and are not used to profile visitors.
• Local preferences.Your theme (light/dark) and language choices are stored in your browser’s localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Administrator session cookie. A single, strictly necessary cookie is used to authenticate site staff in the admin area. Regular visitors never receive it.

What we do not do

• We do not require or offer user accounts.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers (such as iHerb or Amazon) are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click such a link you leave our site, and the retailer — not us — may set cookies on its own domain and process your data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive personal information about you from these retailers.

Service providers

Our product database is hosted by Supabase, and the site is served by our hosting provider. These providers process technical request data on our behalf solely to operate the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under the GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA, or Japan under the APPI), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we hold almost no personal information, such requests are usually straightforward — contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be visible on this page.
